Javascript Vs VBScript

I have no knowledge of either of these languages and so rely heavily on other peoples extensions and server behaviours etc.
Which way do you suggest I go with my site? Javascript or VBScript?

vbscript! Most books in ASP are usually in VBScript. You can always find and add good javascripts to put in your programs.
