Hi all,
I'm having problem with a table that is set to a widht="100%". In a 800x600 resolution monitor, it appears that my center cell is overlapping my right cell in the table. No matter how I arrange the table cell widths, it still overlaps. Any suggestions?

you don't give browser/platform info, but do you have an image in the centre cell that has, as part of its img attribute, "align=right [or] left" ? i've noticed images overlapping cell boundaries in tables when they have these align attributes set: i'm viewing this in netscape 4.x. does the same problem occur in other browsers? if so, suspect the browser you're viewing it in.

you could also check in the code that there aren't any "width=xxx" attributes in any of your td tags - not just the cell you've found the problem in, but surrounding cells as well. add them up and make sure they tally with the table width. hope this helps.

Again going on what has been said - i have also found that mixing % and actual dimensions in px ect causes problems ..if you cant sort it go through the table and remove all sizing, then set them gradualy one by one with the most important first - use clear pixel gif to force sizing in cels as well (make a 1x1 transparent gif and use this to force dimensions and layout) <img src=../images/dwzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
