HiI know how to make a user authentication page in UltraDev, but only using an Access databse in a Windows evironment. I'm now using Dreamweaver in a Mac environment and i'm totally lost <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> I need to create a user login page that will then show a page with a jpg on it retrieved from the database, but does anyone know where I what type of databse would be best. The host is a UNIX server and I think it's MySQL but I've never used MySQL before, sso does anyone know where I could gain some info on SQL databases and how to set them up?
At the company they have Filemaker Pro 5.5 and they want to use this, but to me, it doesn't look like the correct product for the job.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanx
Paul

if you do indeed have access to a mySql server, then I suggest you take advantage of that...

I think you'll find the interface at least a little familiar.
