Hello
I wonder if some one could help me ?

My problem is that can't make Drumbeat sort a content like i want ?

I have imported an access database into drumbeat and now i want to sort some values in a colum like this:
7
6
5
4
etc.

But when the table is imported into drumbeat and opened in the content center, it sorts the values like this:
1
2
3
4
etc.

Q: How can i make drumbeat sort the values like i want ?

P.s I know it's the wrong forum to be in, but i don't know where else to go <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> , if some one do, please give me the URL <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Henri,

I never used Drumbeat myself but have a few URL's for you...

usefull stuff, old newsgroup collections, servicepacks, extensions:
drumbeatinsight.com/update/PublicDownloads.asp

more downloads, mainly examples at this place:
www.charon.co.uk/Download.asp

usefull techtips:
www.magicbeat.com/mb/default.asp?id=drumbeat_techtips

a honest to god newsgroup for drumbeat:
news://ls.magicfind.com/drumbeat-magic

In UDev your problem would be solved by changing the sort option in the recordset window, let me find out quickly if MM still has their drumbeat support available...sadly there's only 9 documents with drumbeat reference in the MM support site, 8 of those refer to drumbeat serial code not being accepted by UDev and nr 9 shows a link allready listed above.

i looked in the newsgroup and it says the technotes are located in the first URL i gave you.

Goodluck Henri

Your other option is to let Access sort the data for you in a querry. Use the querry record set in Drumbeat. My personal opinion is let the database do database functions (which include joins, filters and sorts) and use the interface to display the data
