Hi weird but true, everything is working
no errors. Still the data is not updated in the databank. As i get no error i have no idea whats wrong. Did anybody encounter this???????

Check the Update behaviour to make sure that the fields you are updating are not being 'ignored'

Check the properties of fields in your database.

Are zero length fields allowed?
Is a field required that does not appear on your form?

This happened to me because I had some fields I'm not using at this time, so they're not on the form but they were defined as being "required". I had no error messages at all--the record was just never updated. HTH

I had choosen the wrong key column. Shame on me.
