status: I've sucessfully added the "PD editor" to my 'update' page and added the 'maintext' field from the data bindings window to the multi-line textbox on the update page. Next I re-uploaded the entire site to my ASP web server.

Issue: when I hit the f12 key to display the live data, and append the URL with
'?artid=2' to bring up the record 2 memo field, I receive the following error:
============================================
> HTTP Error 404
>404 Not Found
>The Web server cannot find the file or >script you asked for. Please check the URL >to ensure that the path is correct.
============================================

When I inspect the browser source code, it appears that the database memo field for record2 IS passing to through. However, the text is not displaying, and I receive the 404 error in its place.

Q: where have I gone wrong?

Make sure the "pd_edit.htm" file is in the same directory as your update page.
