Well, I hope it's easy. I am not a programmer, so bear with me. I use UD to make minor changes to existing sites.I had to reinstall UD, and reinstalled with the latest phakt extensions, but my phtml pages aren't viewable by UD. The file type phtml has been set as an option in preferences, and the site defined as php. I can properly view a different site that has pages with .php extension. WHy can't I view this other site with .phtml pages?

At at guess Mark I would say that you haven't set up the .phtml extension to be parsed, you can do this by looking through your httpd.conf file,if you are running apache.
However .phtml is deprecated in favour of .php
