Access Date in dd/mm/yy format

Im having this problem with Access where it takes all the dates im giving it via the website and is interpreting the data differently. What I need is for Access to interpret the dates im giving it in d,m,yy format instead of m,d,yy. The site uses the Date() function, which works fine, and so does Access, which doesnt.
Ive checked out the help for this and had limited success.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Paleface,
I had the same problem, and i think (hope..) i fixed it by changing the date format on your computer it self, because Acces reads that format, so...
goto your settingspanel, then point to country settings and in the general tab, chose the country of your wish, then on the date tab you can see the format it is now using. If you set it to dutch it wil use the dd-mm-yyyy format for sure on yur whole computer...
Hope you can still follow me, if you can't feel free to contact me at
Greetings Matthijs
