hi i have php4 myslq and phpmyadim running fine on my local machine (how i havent a clue )trying to get my head around php my adim but can not seem to aply a user name and password to a my sqldatedatebase so that i can work identicle localy as on my hosting please help

The easiest way to sort out this problem and configure PHPMyAdmin for your remote server, is to use my PHPMyAdmin installer, which you will find on this site.

All you need to do, is to configure a connection to your remote MySQL database within UltraDev, run the PHPMyAdmin installer in the Commands menu, and choose your connection.

The files will be copied to your webroot, configured for your remote server, so all you need to do is to upload them.
