Can PHP Upload be used to upload an image to a BLOB field in a MySQL database? If not, does someone know of a PHP/MySQL extension that can do this?

No it won't do this for you automatically, and at present there is no extension available that will. v2 of my PHP Upload behaviour will do this, however, until that time you will need to use some standard code to achieve this.

There are plenty of examples of this code on the web at either www.zend.com or www.phpbuilder.com
