Here is another quick question that is 2 fold. First, there must be a better way to vaidate forms on pages than the build in dreamweaver method, which is shaky at best. Anyone have a good exstention or know a good way to do this? Second, how do you create pages that will look for empty fields and then redirect to a page that tells the user what they forgot, etc??? thanks a bunch

Hi Jeff,

You want to go to MM extension website and download JIK (Java Integration Kit for Flash), this comes with a whole bunch of GOOD validation behaviors, zipcodes, password comparison, currency, EMPTY FIELD and plenty others, it's by Macromedia, comes with good documentation and should fix your problems in a flash.

You also get the flash-movie trigger behaviors, play a movie when someone moves over certain part of screen or makes movie jump frames, plenty of fun to be had with this and if you don't have flash then the validation behaviors on their own will make you pretty happy, I think.

With kind regards,
