This is a little difficult to answer as it all depends on how big the difference is between versions.

For the most part you can quite simply edit your connections within UD, upload the adodb and Connections folder to your site and it should work.

The difficulty comes in when you need to replace behaviours. Unfortunately there is no short or simple answer.

Having done it a couple of times, I use the Public Domain configuration switcher, and have installed on one version the old version of PHAkT, and on the other, the new version.

Using the old version of PHAkT I make a note of what behaviours are applied to the page, and then remove them. Reboot UltraDev into the new version of PHAkT and reapply those same behaviours.

It isn't a simple process I'm afraid, but it is the only method that is truly safe.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the response. After posting this message i checked out forums.macromedia.com (macromedia.ultradev) and found a few postings on the phakt upgrade to 1.1 issue/bug (behaviours and recordsets not displaying the panels after creating them). That is what i was experiencing but now it seems to be fine. Cheers.
