I have a search textfield and I have set the size so that it is only certain number of characters wide. When I load the page into netscape 4, the textfield becomes alot wider. Does anyone know how to control the size of the textfield?

Lastly the text that appears in the form but to the left of the textfield has a CSS applied to it. The text appears correctly in IE but in N4 the browser hasn't applied the CSS to the text. Does N4 have a problem with CSS in forms?

Thanks.

James.

Netscape 4 has a lot of problems with CSS. Version 6 is a lot better, but still not good enough.

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>
