Hi,
I want to write the date and time in a DB as textStrings. This works fine allready at my home-server! but my hosting provider's server gives back the date with slashes and the time in 12h with PM or AM at the end. There is a posting from MaT in the ASP forum under udzone.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16&FORUM_ID=7&CAT_ID=5&Topic_Title=Damn+TimeZones&Forum_Title=ASP
which I think would be a hint to use those DATEADD. But in detail it does not help me!
So I want to have in the date field the west european time format: dd.mm.yyyy where the server gives me a mm/dd/yyyy and for the time I would like to have hh:mm:ss in 24h format (the seconds are not important to me) where the server gives me a hh:mm:ss AM (or PM) in 12 hours format. Can someone give me an hint please. Thnak you! Tom
