I've used Phakt in the past with great success. Have not installed anything new other than a couple of extensions. Here's the problem. I create a recordset with PHP server enabled. I insert master/detail behavior and get an error message of "Before using this object please create a recordset". I've even gotten this error with two recordsets created. Has anyone seen this one before? Thanks,
Frank

Indeed, I even reported this error to the guys at Interakt a while ago with a previous build.
The strange thing with this issue is that it comes and it goes (much like the old EM Bug).
All I can really suggest is that you report this issue to the bugtracker at www.interakt.ro/bt and in the meantime, create a new site definition and try exactly the same there. If it all works there ok then you are quids in.
Trouble is with this issue too, is that I've not been able to reproduce it for a few builds now. Something that also springs to mind, is that if you are upgrading old builds of PHAkT with new builds, without first removing the original build, then this too might also be causing problems.
Anyway, I hope this is of some help.

No luck with a new setup. I also uninstalled version 1.06 and tried 1.03 which worked in the past. Still no luck.
