Hello, I'm pondering over starting an DW/UD extension project to build a suite for development with a certain crossbrowser DHTML lib called DynAPI2 (see dynapi.sourceforge.net/dynapi/). I've been following and contributing to it for over a year, and know there's both desires (myself not least) and interest in some kind of implementation for a tool to develop DynAPI2 with. I've begun doing a code that sucessfully copies in the library into the current active site and adds some initial code, but realised that for the suite to be completely as I want I would need a working data translator extension. The core of the dynapi is the dynlayer which is and acts mostly like a regular layer. Now, I'm a newbie extension developer, so my newbie questions are:

<i><b>Can a client-side datatranslator be done? Can it access so it translates a javascript object to a design (WYSIWYG) view layer with full features plus some? And where do I begin???</b></i>
