Have you remembered to upload both your Connections folder and adodb folder to your server BEFORE using Live Data view ?

Thanks for the reply, but err....nope! So how do I go about this?
My understanding was that with my version of PHakt (1.0.6) the adodb stuff was done automatically?
Also where is my connections folder? Nonne of the tutorials I've used mentioned this unless i missed something!
Well I am a novice as you can tell!
FYI - I'm testing the site locally first with the omnihttpd!

Sorted it!
Realised that my local files had the adodb and connections folder added to them - just simply uploaded them to the corresponding file on my server!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

It's a pleasure.
Whilst the Connections folder and adodb folder are automatically created and populated in your working directory, they are not automatically uploaded to your web server.
Why is this? Well, simply put, not everyone uses the internal FTP within UltraDev, and as such don't necessarily enter the relevant information in 'Define Sites'. For this reason you can't automatically upload these folders.
All of this is included in the help files contained within the original PHAkT package. These, along with the standard UltraDev help files, should always be your first port of call.
Glad to see that you're up and running now though <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
