I created a pop-up (drop-down) menu nav bar in Fireworks. The pop-up menuformat uses "images" instead of "html". When I convert it to HTML it works
great. But when I convert the HTML to a Dreamweaver template, so that it can
be used at the top of every page, Dreamweaver converts all my pop-up menu
boxes from images to a solid color. And when I do a mouse-over on them, the
boxes change to a dark solid color. But I can still see the text. First, I
tried opening the Fireworks HTML in Dreamweaver and saving it as a template.
Then I tried opening a fresh template and inserting the Fireworks HTML into
it. Both had the same above result.
I used Fireworks instead of building a layer-based pop-up menu in
Dreamweaver because I thought it was easier. But this isn't working. Does
anyone know what's happening and how to fix it?

I received this answer from another forum:
See tech note 15088 at
www.macromedia.com/support/fireworks/ts/documents/popups4_temp.htm.
This article specifically talks about using pop-ups in DW templates. I had
the same problem myself.
Also, MM has fixed some of the bugs with FW 4. There is a download for this
on the support page for FW.
Good Luck, Cliff
