Does anyone know a simple (preferably) way to hide certain fields in a record if they are the same as the previous record.

for instance, A field "Location" contains the repeating records (America x four; England x two; Germany x five). I am sorting under this field, but would like to list the other fields (date, time, type etc) under location as the heading.

eg
America date time type
date time type etc

England date time type etc

I'd be really grateful if anyone could suggest something.

Thanks

Judith

Hey Judith,

It sounds like you want to have what are known as "nested repeat regions." There is an excellent tutorial on how to do this:

www.udzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=2&NewsId=394

If you still need help on setting up the recordsets, just give a shout back. I'd be glad to give you an example.

Bobby
