I found this question in Ask Hiran and Google, but there was no answer for
it. I have the same question. So I thought I'd bring it up again and see if
any answers have been found since it was posted in April.

"Anybody know if there is a way to force a page not to the print the header
or
footer details regardless of the user's browser settings? For example,
default IE settings print headers (doc title and page number) and footers
(url and date). When creating forms etc (i.e. a bank application that you
fill out online and would carry into the branch because a signiture is
required) it would be nice to use a script or something to force these not
to print which would allow the printed form to appear exactly as the
designer intended?"

I received this answer by e-mail:

There is an activeX control available through
www.meadroid.com/scriptx that allows you to do this.
