Could anyne help write an extension for DW?

I ain't too sure, but I don't think this problem is down to the script running slow.
You'd probably find that this is down to the actual image loading slowing into the browser.
Your best bet is to use the preloadimages behaviour so that the image has loaded before the user get a chance to mouse over the item in question.
