Hey everyone... first of all let me voice for my frustration with horizontal autostretch! I can never get it to work properly, things are always going where they shouldn't! Maybe I just need a good tutorial - anyone know of one that covers that in depth?Anyway,I am curious if anyone knows how to make a bottom banner always remain at the bottom of the page, regardless of the window size. You can seee this done on the BWM site here www.bmwusa.com/welcome.cfm?page=&bottom=0
Anybody ???
Thanks,
JEFF

Hey Jeff,
If you look at the source for the BMW site, you'll find that they are using frames. A lot of designers out there, including myself, choose to stay away from frames simply from a layout point of view. Short of using the frames method, you could use the table method. Place your banner in the main table with the "width=100%" and "height=100%" attributes. Then for the banner row just use <tr valign=bottom>. Be aware that the "height=100%" is not recognized by Netscape Browsers 4.* (I'm not sure about Netscape 6). Also, all of the rows are stretch vertically to fill the screen.
Maybe this helps.
