Hi all...

lets say that I wanted 2 upload a shortcut from C:\WINDOWS\Favorites\ to my db and then display the shortcut as a hyperlink to the webpage that the shortcut represents...

is this possible?

does anyone have any theories of how this could be acheived?

I don't think you can upload the whole shortcut file as (correct me if i'm wrong someone) the browser won't recognise an .lnk file.
What you could do is get the raw url from the shortcut (if it's a short cut on your desktop) right click it goto properties -> (win 2000) web document, and just cut and paste the URL field into a dreamweaver link.
