Hi,I had installed and was happily using phakt when I had to go back to maintain an old ASP website project of mine. Upon doing so i noticed that some of the behaviours were no longer getting recognized by UD. For example none of the login to page/protect page/logout behaviours are showing in the SB panel. Also if i add a new recordset to a page it does not show up either.
I am using Windows NT 4 Server/IIS 4/UD 4.01/Phakt 1.0.1
If i reinstall UD and all of the other extensions I am using it all worked again. But I want to use phakt! How or even can this be fixed.
Thanks

This was a known issue with PHAkT v8.x, and could only be resolved by reinstalling UD.
If you were using previous beta versions of PHAkT this is what has caused your problem. This issue has been resolved with PHAkT v1.x
However if you still get this problem after reinstalling PHAkT v1.01 I would suggest you report the problem to www.interakt.ro/phakt/bt
Hope this helps

OK,
I have reinstalled UD 4, updated to 4.01, installed Additional Flash button Styles 1.0.0, More Flash Buttons! 1.0.0, PD online HTML editor 1.1.1, Ultradeviant alt row colour 1.2.0, Wrox ASP 3.0 Reference 1.0
Then i installed PHAkt 1.0.1.
the PHP server model works, however if I go to another site definition that is ASP based immediatly i notice that it reconginzes NONE of the User Authentication, Restrict Access Macromedia SB's
Any Ideas?

Interesting...
Though, personally I would have tested this by just installing PHAkT and ensuring that no other 3rd party extensions were installed. However, this probably makes little difference.
Other ASP/PHP users haven't reported any such issue with the current release of PHAkT, but as you are still experiencing difficulties, I would recommend that you complete a bug report at the URL in my previous posting.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but from this end it certainly sounds like a bug.

Tim,
Yeah once i get through my current crunch project I will do just that. Right now my project is PHP and I can live with it not showing me SB's for the ASP model. If I have to quickly change to the ASP model to do a few mods thats life!

A quick Tip: After reinstallind UD and before installing additional extensions copy the entire Configurations folder, and rename it to PHAkT.
Start UD and install all the extensions you want for ASP. When you have got UD the way you want it to be for ASP, rename the Confurations folder to ASP, and the PHAkT folder to Configuration. Start the extension manager, and install PHAkT and any other PHP Extensions you need.
Then when you want to switch server models, just switch configuration directory.
Hope this helps
