Brinkster told me they didnt support Ultradev sites! after fighting for days with my own. They say that only a few of their paying members use UD successfully (they have FTP access as opposed to the free members ASP upload access.

If you know how to get a UD site working on Brinkster Jezter, please inform me!!!!<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

You should be able to set up an OLE DB connection, this can be uploaded via FTP or Brinkster's upload system in the same manner as all your other files.

You can take a look at my tutorial, follow the link at the bottom of the page, which has a section on creating an OLE DB connection. Also see my other post egarding DSNless connections at:

in short ...
brinkster does offer free asp hosting
but you have to upload everything through
a browser AND
you have to create a dsn-less connection
(see Owen's post)

to find the path on the server
you can use the following extension

www.basic-ultradev.com/extensions/index.asp?UD4=1&ASP=1&searchOn=path

however I think brinkster tells you the
location <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

greetz
