I need help on a Flash Album that was working fine then was updated to the Dynamic Gallery using same settings so the user could upload their own images.

All was working fine - however the user complained that the new photos were appearing at a lower resolution.

I tried a number of different settings, resolutions and sizes for her but still seem to have the same problem.
If you would like to view the variations please have a look here and click through from the last beach image to the car images - www.louisemyers.com.au/commercial.php

Is there any reason why the image appears fine as portrait but lose resolution as landscape - the previous images were a mixture of both portrait and landscape and were fine.?

As a photographer she does not want to show anything that detracts from her work.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thank you

I'm having the same problem.
We've also tried to write them an e-mail direct on another topic with no response.

<b>This is ridiculous!</b>
I first sent DMX Support an email about this in March 2006 - Verification Number [DMX36618] the auto reply advised me to check the forums. I did and that topic has either been deleted or the forum updated without a reponse.
I also sent another email to support - Verification Number [DMX40541] 13th June 06 - same reply - use forums.
I tried again in Sept 06 - Auto-Reply: [DMX46643] flash gallery help - same reply - use forums
I have posted here in two different areas - Dynamic Flash Gallery PHP and in the BUGS forum. Not one reply from support except as you can see below from another user needing support.
<b>WHAT SUPPORT???</b>

I get angry everytime you send me a newsletter - Knowing you make me look unprofessional to my clients, and everytime you ignore me with auto responses and zero forum help I question my decision to use your products.

Do the right thing please.

Hi Louise,

It seems that the problem is with the resolution of the later uploaded landscape images. The images that looks good have the following resolution: Width- 350px Heigth- 255px. The landscape cars have Width- 255px Heigth- 186px.

For this reason the cars are stretched and lose resolution. If the new uploaded ladscape images have the same resolution as the first one (Width- 350px Heigth- 255px) the problem will not appear.

Regards,

Georgi Kralev
