I just purchased this extension and am experiencing the same error message as this person (and many others) have described.
Per your suggestion, I tried creating a new gallery with just 3 images with short uncomplicated file names. I would get the same error message.
I'm running Dreamweaver MX although I did install the trial for version 8 and then uninstalled the trial version.

Please, accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience.
The problem will be fixed in the next version. It seems that the issue does not appear at Dreamweaver 8.02.
Therefore, if you have the opportunity you could move to Dreamweaver 8 and update it to 8.02.

Dangit! I'm still on Dreamweaver MX. I thought that this was compatible? Any clue on an update time line? Or is updating Dreamweaver my only choice?

ok, this didn't work? I downloaded the updated file. Installed it and it did the same thing. I tried uninstalling the extension and then reinstalling. And then I tried to create a new photogallery page, and it still does the same thing. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Baub,
It should work - maybe your installation wasn't updated.
Did you got a new installation wizard when you restarted DW after extension installation in EM?
If not see this faq:

I was getting an install wizard. now when I install I get a C:\program files\macromedia\dreamweaver mx\configuration\temp\flashalbum20\flashalbum20_install.mxi was not found.
And it won't reinstall.
I uninstall ALL of my extensions. And I still get this error. Any ideas?

Hi baub,
Try to delete the following file:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
*-means letters and numbers (for example 8D991465).
Then restart the Dreamweaver.
Also if you have several version of Dreamweaver (for example 8.02, MX) you should uninstall the extension for all version from Macromedia Extension Manager.
I hope this helps you.
