Library items with CSS for universal navigation menus
How can I make navigation links, to look the way I want them (CSS), by just using DW, no programming, no SSI, that I can put on many pages and update universally? I am a designer and not a programmer so the SSI thing won’t do for my needs and abilities. Please help!
I used to use GoLive and Components for universal navigation on my sites without any problems. With DW I keep running into roadblocks.
1. Library items DO NOT include CSS, so I can’t control how they look which is useless. Unless I learn SSI, but I am a designer, not a programmer.
2. So I have been using templates as a band aid, however I cannot put forms or flash on pages from templates because it affects the <head> code on those pages. So I get a message from DW saying to “UNLOCK the <heag> tag”… but no one can tell me how to do this.
3. MODIFY/TEMPLATE PROPERTIES is always greyed out as well.
4. How do I take a template page and save it NOT a template, but an HTML page?
