Hi, this is a strange one. I have used Dreamweaver/Access/Advanced HTML editor to update records on numerous occasions, but I have come across a problem with the lastest website I am doing. Its a bit difficult to describe so apologies for any vagueness.

I have a login page which goes into an admin page on succesful login. On the admin page I have a menu which allows you to navigate the pages that I want to edit ie Edit Homepage takes me to a page with an Advanced HTML Editor on it which allows me to edit the homepage text (I use the Dreamweaver Update function). Now if I put a couple of lines of text in, it will update the Homepage text fine and I can go back into it and make changes, but if i was to put in a load of text, or copy and paste from notepad it will update but if I go back into it an make more changes it wont update anymore, in fact the only way to get it to update again is if I download my database, go into the field that i am trying to update, delete all the text and upload the database again. Then i can start updating again, but only a few lines of text at a time... basically round and round we go. Also...

Another thing happens when I copy and paste large amounts of text is that when I go back into the Edit Homepage page the text appears in the editor - but it also appears at the bottom of the page - after the editor - but this doesnt happen when you edit insert small amounts of text.

Now this is a very unusual problem and I am sure it is something I am doing wrong, could anyone help. I can give you the web address and the code if you need it.
