Hi there urgent help needed

I control two of our companies websites called say Site 1 and Site 2,

Site 1 has the database in its root along with the admin pages to upload different products, both sites refer to these products.

I use the newest version of asp upload to upload .pdf files, these are the datasheets for the relevant products.

The problem that i am having is this, if i want to upload a new product that refers to site 1, all is fine when i search for the product i uploaded via the admin pages, i see it fine i hover over the product which then uses the dynamic tool in dreamweaver to link me to the correct datasheet and the path would be www.site1.com/pdfs/database/.pdf, all this is correct

However if i upload a product that releates to site 2, then browse site 2's site for this product i see it has uploaded fine but when i hover over i get this www.site2.com/pdfs/database/.pdf, how can i someway do this so instead of it saying site 2 it says site 1,

I know the problem is because the database and the admin pages reside on site 1 but i would have to redo an awful lot of work to have two seperate databases, Can anyone shed some light on a quick and efficient way.
