heres what i need to do..

when home page loads.. create a random alphanumeric var about 10 chrs long or more, then set a session var called 'sessionID' containing that alphanumeric var.

Also....

i would like all other pages to check if a session var called 'sessionID' exists and if not set it as per above.

Any ideas.. i'm New at this by the way
