Hi,

I have been creating a replacement front end for a site stored on a mistral virtual server and now wish to upload a few test pages. My new site utilises the databases from the old site and is created in ASP, as is the old site. Firstly, do I need to use DSN-less connections or can I import the connections I have in some way? I have passwords to access the site via FTP software but I am not aware of any control panel type setup where I could do this. Secondly, how must the site be stored on the server? Do the ASP pages have to be stored in the site root folder? When I tried to upload a page and its associated connections folder inside a directory, nothing works, when I upload to the root folder, the page is found, but the include files are not. I do not wish to take the old site down at present; I am simply wanting to test the files I currently have. Unfortunately I have taken over the site from someone else who left me very little information, so I am not even sure of the storage space or specs available to me on the server. Thanks in advance
