I'm searching for a (commercial) WHOIS component what can check all kind of domains including future domains. The component should listen to port 43 and give me back whenever a domain is available or already taken.

Many components only work with .COM, .NET and .ORG domains.

Does anyone know a good component or script that I can use with my ASP or ASP.NET pages. Besides the .com, .net, .org names the .nl and .eu domainname check is very important to us... but if i can check them all it would be great.

I use an asp.net script which is very easy to impliment. It will get a response from any whois server then go through the response to check details

I utilise it in www.upload.co.uk/domains/ajax-domain-whois.asp it does a search everytime you type.

Its that fast i had to put a 1 sec delay on the script.
