i have the wierdest problemi have an asp page which contains several hidden fields with values
these hidden fields are inserted in an access database with an on bodyload
now most of the times the record gets inserted correctly, but on some occasions
the record gets inserted 2 or 3 times....... now in my book this is completely
impossible but it happens for some reason...
did anyone experienced something like this??? and what could be the problem
hope you can help
greetzzz Sander

This is indeed very strange and also in theory impossible.... are you maybe calling a insert recordset behaviour more than once or that you have twice an action a button?!

ive heard of this in the past on access, and from what i can remeber it's down to a corrupted table in access.
try doing a compact and repair after inserts, and see if that helps. it will reduce the size and remove all cache and temporary info from the db.

I think this has a thing to do with security
I can update records on localhost... but not on the server when i upload it....
This is most probably a security issue...
Is there a simple solution...
Please help
