I'm wondering where I can get a WYSIWYG type of rich text editor that I can use on my web site for people to post messages to a forum, with rich text...

I'm looking for a component I can install on the server and call an instance of in ASP...

Something like what you see on this message forum when you post a message - except I want it to be realtime rich text, not inserting [ b ] tags... I'd like the user to be able to highlight a word and turn it bold, or a different color...and see the results, not a bunch of tags around words...

Of course, price is always a consideration -

Any advice???

Thanks!

There are several online WYSIWYG HTML editors available, both free and commercial, eg. PD Online HTML Editor and Richt Text Editor.
Both can be downloaded (I think) from this website as an extension. Try putting 'online html editor' in the Search box and see what it comes up with.
